Folks at a Florida military base got pretty hot under the collar when the air conditioning system stopped working properly. The cooling coils in the facility’s air conditioning unit got clogged from drywall and concrete dust which had accumulated during a remodeling project. The air flow was so restricted that the air handling unit could only push a limited amount of cool air.
As part of our HVAC cleaning processes, Service-Tech applied hot water pressure to unclog the coils in order for the system to run efficiently. Whatever time of year, don’t let your heating or cooling system go on the fritz. Schedule to have air ducts and other components of your HVAC system cleaned regularly -- and always during or immediately after any construction or renovation work.
